3. Chicken roll preparation time

The chicken roll recipe takes 30 minutes to prepare the ingredients. The preparation time of this recipe is 20 minutes, in which the total cooking time is 50 minutes. If prepared with the method given below, this dish is sufficient for 2-3 members.

Chicken Roll Recipe | How to Make Chicken Rolls in Home

Material:

  • 250 grams boneless chicken
  • 1 big onion finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato chopped
  • 2 medium green chilies chopped
  • 1 pinch chili
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 pinches garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ cucumber cut into strips
  • ½ tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp green chilli chutney
  • For marination:
  • ½ tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp garlic paste
  • a pinch of turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon curd
  • a pinch of black pepper powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • For dough:
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp oil
  • ½ cup water
  • salt to taste

How to make Chicken Roll:

  • Take a bowl and add coriander powder, garlic paste, cumin powder, ginger paste, curd, black pepper and turmeric. Mix them well.
  • Now add boneless chicken to this mixture and let it marinate for 1 hour.
  • Take a frying pan and add oil to it. When the oil becomes hot enough, add onion and fry it.
  • After this add chopped tomatoes. Let them cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • After this, add marinated chicken pieces to it and mix well. Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
  • Add water to the mixture.
  • Cover and let it cook. If it looks dry add more water.
  • Set aside when done. When the chicken cools down, cut it into small pieces.
  • To knead the dough, add oil, salt and water to the flour. Knead the dough. Roll out 2-3 balls of it.
  • Take one of these smooth balls and roll it into a round parantha.
  • Fry the parathas on a non-stick tava (griddle) with a few drops of oil from all sides. Fry the parantha until a brown spot appears on it. Don’t twist it too much.
  • Take roasted parantha and add cooked chicken pieces to it.
  • Then add onion, cucumber, chopped coriander, lime juice, garam masala and chili powder and pour tomato ketchup and green chili sauce on top.
  • Roll it up carefully, wrap one end of the chicken roll in a tissue and serve hot.
